The answer is, "yes, but confirm with your accountant." You're coming to Dubai and using this service to start a corporation and get residency, which is required for a corporation, as well as attend business/tax seminars. This means that the cost of this service and your travel costs should be tax deductible. But we can't give tax advice so please check with your tax professional.
The event is November 4th to November 20th 2024. You need to be there that long to ensure you get your residency. Of course you are welcome to come earlier or stay later! Dubai is a fantastic place!
The deadline is October 4th 2025 at 12:00 AM CST. After that, we can not take anyone else since we might not be able to get your documents prepared in time.
Other than a 5% sales tax (VAT), correct, there are no taxes in Dubai.
That's only for local businesses in the UAE selling to local residents or corporations making millions of dollars a year. That tax does not apply to you as an owner of a small business Free Zone corporation, unless you're making millions of dollars a year already, and even then only under certain conditions.
14 days in Dubai minimum.
Yes and yes. You won't save as much taxes than if you actually left your high-taxed country, but yes, you can still save some money in taxes even if you don't move away.
If you're not an American, yes, it's that simple. If you are an American, your first $126,500 per year earned will be tax-free, and there are other ways of legally saving taxes beyond that if you're willing to be flexible.
Yes. Lots of people do exactly that.
No! All you need to do is visit Dubai once every six months. That's it. You can arrive and then leave the same day(!). Many people just use Dubai as a layover on their way to fly somewhere else and as long as you exit the airport and go back in, that's all you need to do.
Unlike other countries, the UAE will take residents from just about any country in the entire world, including places like Iran. So yes. The UAE/Dubai wants people moving here so they are very friendly about it.
You'll have your residency card in your hand when you leave after your 2-week stay. Residency in Dubai is one of the fastest in the world.
No. There are so many options for airfare and hotels there was no way to make this work. The good news is that you can find hotels in Dubai for very cheap, if you wish, and we will assist you in finding a place that makes sense for you. And again, you may also likely be able to write off your travel costs on your taxes due to the business nature of starting a corporation here and going to our business/tax seminars (but please check with your accountant.)
The UAE/Dubai does not do ANY criminal background check at all. So you're good to go!
Yes, everyone in Dubai speaks English. It is the official language of the UAE.
2 years. After that you can renew for longer. You will also (likely) have to renew your corporation every year as well and there are annual fees associated with this. (But you'll be saving so much money on taxes this shouldn't matter.)
We can't control the UAE government, so no. That being said, the UAE is one of the easiest residencies in the world to get (which is why we recommend it so much) and the UAE government is extremely lenient regarding this kind of thing and it WANTS you to get residency there. Your odds of getting turned down for your residency request are extremely, extremely low. We've never heard of even once case where this has happened.
Yes. You will be able to set up a personal checking/savings account once your residency is done. However, Dubai is a little slow setting up bank accounts and it takes an additional 2-3 weeks to do so, so you'll either need to extend your stay or return to Dubai for a second visit to get this done. (Setting up bank accounts is not included in this service but we can point you in the right direction and get you started.)
No, you'll have to set that up separately. See the above question. However, you do NOT need a checking account to maintain your corporation or your residency. There are lots of Dubai residents who just maintain corporations with no checking accounts just to maintain their residency. Dubai doesn't care.
The simple answer is no. These things are both linked in that it's a flat fee that gets you both. You could get one or the other but you'd end up paying the same exact amount, so you might as well just get both. Plus, residency requires you to have a corporation unless you're doing something unusual.
Unfortunately, there are many hard costs for us to implement this program for you, so no.
No problem. If you have to cancel your November trip you can simply reschedule your trip for a later date, go to Dubai then, and we'll support you over the phone (instead of in-person) and coordinate with the attorneys remotely. Things will be slightly less convenient but we'll still make it work.
Because of the numerous hard costs involved for us in implementing this program for you there are no refunds (unless we are the ones who cancel the service or event) however there is no risk of you missing out on your residency if you have to cancel your trip. You can simply reschedule your trip for a later date and we'll support you over the phone and coordinate with the attorneys remotely.
Disclaimers / Legal Stuff
1. We stand by the results you’ll get from our team, but we have no control whatsoever over the UAE government. If between now and when you receive your residency, before and during your trip, the UAE government does any of the following:
• Makes a change in their residency laws
• Introduces new charges for residency
• Delays your paperwork or appointments
• Makes errors on your paperwork or billing
• Gives us, our legal team, or you any incorrect or misleading statements about getting residency
• Makes any other disruptive change to the process
Then we can not and will not be held liable for these problems and you will not receive any sort of refund or credit. You will be liable for any additional charges or travel expenses if they are incurred by the government. However, what we WILL do is work with you as best we can to help navigate these changes without charging you any extra on our part.
2. We stand by our results but we can't control what you do. If you do not provide us with the requested documents or other items by the deadlines we specify, you may not get your residency on your visit and you may have to either extend your stay (at your own cost) or return to Dubai at a later date (at your cost).
3. All payments are non-refundable (unless we are the ones who cancel or reschedule the event)
